Here you will find information on the "hole in the wall fix" for the cooling issues associated with the number five cylinder on P-Barons.  Apparently this hole is supposed to exist in the baffle when the unit is shipped from Beech, however it has been found that many baffles are in service without the hole

In my case this brought the temperatures on my number five cylinder from an almost unmanageable level, back down into the mid 3xx's.  It also has evened out the temperature (CHT) spread.  My number six cylinder now runs hottest and of course GAMI has a fix for that!

If you are considering adding this hole, you should probably contact Beech and determine if it does in fact apply to your particular airframe.

Special thanks to Jim Blodgett for providing the drawings and photos for this page.

I will be posting more information on this "fix" soon, but I wanted to at least get the drawing online for those of you who have been asking for it.
